WELCOME!

RECEIVE:
On the morning of December 31st, 2005, exactly two-thousand and six (2006) special members of the Austin community will be chosen to RECEIVE a freshly baked loaf of bread. Included with the bread is an invitation to participate in First Night Austin.

GATHER:
At 4:30pm, BREAD community participants will GATHER at 9th and Congress and prepare to parade down Congress Avenue with First Night Austin's Grand Processional.

SHARE:
At approximately 7pm, BREAD community participants will SHARE their bread with the city of Austin, leading the First Night audience in the ceremonious bread-breaking ritual of the Family Finale. Fireworks to follow.

RESOLVE:
Around 7:30pm, BREAD community participants and the general public will walk to the First Avenue Pedestrian Bridge to release their breadcrumbs into Town Lake, making a resolution for the New Year.
